We are happy to share Muriel Thomson’s annual newsletter for 2018.

The 2018 visit to the St. Joseph Centre highlighted remarkable progress in education and welfare for the children. Support continued for multiple projects across Southern India, enhancing living conditions and providing vital health and social care. It is especially inspiring to witness young adults progressing through college and then returning to mentor younger children, demonstrating the long-term impact of these educational initiatives.

Key Achievements:

• Seven students were supported at various colleges in Chennai.

• A new roof and safer living conditions were provided for a former student and her family.

• A private toilet was constructed for a student’s family, significantly improving their living conditions and dignity.

• A successful medical and dental camp provided health checks and free medicines for approximately sixty children.
